Welcome to the Cardiff Toxicology Laboratories

The Cardiff Toxicology Laboratories are based within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, one of the largest NHS organisations in the UK. Accredited according to CPA (Clinical Pathology Accreditation) standards, the laboratories deliver analytical toxicology services to healthcare providers, research institutions and industry.

Normal laboratory operating hours are 08:30-17:00 on monday to friday, and 09:00-12:30 on weekends and bank-holidays. An emergency out of hours service is also available for the management of poisonings.
